Inspired by Bach, the Australian bush and blue cheese, Flametree Productions Inc. was founded in 2006 when Artistic Directors James Beck and Heidi Jones were artists-in-residence at Bundanon, the former property of artist Arthur Boyd.

Born out of a passion for the senses and a desire to see art music represented and produced with uniquely Australian qualities, Flametree events are complex yet accessible, unpretentious yet worldly, vital, direct, spontaneous, celebratory and always original in perspective.

Awarded Best Festival/Event 2006 by ABC's Limelight magazine for their inaugural 'Flametree Festival at Bundanon', Flametree has the networks and vision to create events that establish a new benchmark for integrity, diversity and taste.
